Chev Silverado Audio Upgrade
This is a Silverado Factory OEM radio upgrade kit. All the items included in the kit are manufactured by Pioneer. The advantage of this kit is that you get to keep the Silverado factory installed radio and all the vehicles features that are run through it. This system has been built on the Pioneer GM-DX975 five channel amplifier rated at 4 x 75 watts and 1 x 600 watts. The system also includes the Pioneer TS-A653FH 4 speaker set, along with the Dual Pioneer TS-A2554 10 inch subwoofers rated at 700 watts total RMS. Factory installed systems usually suffer from poor speakers offering low output specs. Quality speakers are expensive so OEM manufactures save money by not installing them. The OE radio is then limited in its output to keep the speakers sounding reasonable without too much distortion. This Silverado Pioneer system includes the Rockford Fosgate DSR1 (DSP module). This module is the key to unlocking your Silverado factory radios full audio potential. The DSR1 (DSP) unlocks the OEM restricted output of the factory radio. This clean full signal is then passed through the 5 channel amp and out through the speakers filling the cabin with exquisite highs and deep low BASS that you can feel.

Four Pioneer 6.5 inch 2 Way Speakers

The GM-DX975 five-channel amplifier can power your entire car audio system, delivering 75 watts RMS at 4 ohms to each of your front and rear speakers, and 350 watts RMS at 4 ohms, or up to 600 watts RMS at 2 ohms, to your subwoofer. CTA-2006 compliant, this highly efficient Class D technology provides impressive, high-quality power in a compact chassis. The frequency response of the full-range channels extends up to 50,000 Hz, supporting crystal-clear Hi-Res Audio Certified playback. The GM-DX975 uses high-grade electronic components and gold-plated RCA connections to ensure maximum performance.

Rockford Fosgate DSR1 DSP module
Your car computer controls its audio system, so upgrading the sound has to include integrating with your car's digital network. Rockford Fosgate's DSR1 combines an integration module with a full-featured digital signal processor so you can add an aftermarket amplifier without losing any of your factory controls or audio notifications, and achieve the high-fidelity sound the system lacked. Co-developed with iDatalink Maestro, the DSR1 combines a full-featured 3Sixty digital signal processor with a flashable Maestro integration module. The DSR1 can be used out-of-the-box with high or low level input, or with a quick flash download to add vehicle specific firmware to enable integration without the loss of factory equipped controls and features. Once connected, complete control of the sound profile can be adjusted using the proprietary Rockford Fosgate PerfectTune™ software.
