This is Thinkwares first Premium 4K Dash Cam with Sony STARVIS 2 Technology Recording in stunning 4K UHD @ 30 fps or 2K QHD @ 60 fps, thanks to its 8MP Sony STARVIS 2 IMX 678 sensor and a 158º field of view. Additionally, its rear camera captures 128º in 2K QHD @ 30fps through a 5MP Sony STARVIS IMX 335 sensor.
With the new Sony STARVIS 2 technology, the Thinkware U3000 has improved low-light performance and contrast, provides high resolution and clarity, while also lowering power consumption in parking mode.

​New Radar Parking Mode with Built-in Radar
Enjoy parking protection against potential mishaps and hit-and-runs by capturing footage when an impact or motion is detected (hardwiring cable or OBD-II cable required; OBD-II cable included). You can also tailor the U3000’s Parking mode based on your surveillance needs by choosing from Motion Detection, Time Lapse, Energy Saving Parking mode, or new Radar Parking mode.

​Radar Parking mode is a low-powered recording mode that utilizes the U3000’s built-in front and rear radars to monitor motion with minimal power consumption (requires hardwiring or OBD-II cable, OBD-II cable included). This allows for longer parking surveillance with buffering so you have footage of events leading to an incident. When a motion or impact is detected, the U3000 will save a 20-sec video clip of the incident (10s before and after the motion or impact is detected).
